Adelaide space companies reunite for satellite mission
Two Adelaide space companies will work together on a next-generation satellite mission scheduled for launch in 2027, further strengthening Australia’s sovereign space capability and Space Domain Awareness expertise.
Opening in 2029, SpaceBase will be Australia’s premier satellite facility, bringing together spacecraft assembly, integration, testing and cleanroom capabilities in a single location for satellites up to 250kg, supporting the next generation of Australian space missions.
An initiative of the South Australian Government, through the South Australian Space Industry Centre, SpaceBase will be located in Defence HQ at Adelaide’s innovation district, Lot Fourteen.
